At Expedition Church, we believe that every believer is “on mission” every day in his/her spheres of influence. Because of this belief, we are constantly encouraging people to be alert to daily opportunities to Share God with others and step out of one’s comfort zone to do so.  We also encourage people to be alert and open to God’s leading into short-term or long-term missions endeavors that are local, stateside and or even international.

We also believe in using a portion of all the non-designated financial contributions given  through offerings to financially support local, stateside, and international missions and missionaries.

We currently support several stateside and international missionary families in the following places:

1) Adam and Laura Brown – They work with the Thrive10:10 ministry through Grace Bible Church, Killeen, Texas. They are doing marriage ministry with military couples stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. They have recently expanded their ministry to work with veteran couples in Houston, Texas.

2) Josh and Taylor Irby – They live in Bosnia (in eastern Europe) working with college students through a ministry called Svaki Student. They are part of the worldwide staff of Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ). “Svaki Student” means “every student” in the local language.

3) Joel Thornton – He founded and leads the International Human Rights Group that focuses on the fight for religious freedoms and human freedoms in the United States and around the world.

We also give to help support various local ministries and mission initiatives like The F.I.N.D. Bartow Family Resources, the Bartow Baptist Association of Churches, Flowering Branch Children’s ShelterBartow Give A Kid A Chance and S.P.L.A.S.H. Bartow.

We also support Galilean Home MinistriesOperation Christmas Child and The Salvation Army and various other seasonal ministries.
